Cold, Flu, RSV Season Survival Kit for the Family

I always get a little anxious when October rolls around. It’s like I can feel the germs making their way into our household. I know this year will be no different than years past with head colds, sniffles, sneezes and coughs. That doesn’t mean I can’t arm our home with some essentials. Because let’s be honest… there is nothing worse than having sick kids when you are already feeling crummy.

This morning I had the chance to chat with CBS 47 in Fresno, CA about our family’s survival kit for this time of year.

In our survival kit, I include the essentials. At the end of the day, consider what will give you some comfort, a little ease and support your immune system:

Here’s a simple soup recipe using LonoLife:

LonoLife Immune-Supporting Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large pot add olive oil, onion, celery, and garlic. Cook on medium heat until onion is translucent.
  2. Add bone broth and the rest of the ingredients to pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for about 30 minutes.
  3. Enjoy!
