My 6 year old asked for banana bread last week and I couldn’t say no. This recipe is absolutely the best. The secret ingredient? Sour Cream! Check it out and let me know if you give it a try.
BEST BANANA BREAD
- ▢ 1/2 cup butter softened
- ▢ 1/2 cup brown sugar
- ▢ 1/2 cup sugar
- ▢ 2 eggs
- ▢ 2 teaspoons vanilla
- ▢ 1 cup mashed ripe banana
- ▢ 2 cups flour
- ▢ 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ▢ 1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- ▢ 1/2 cup sour cream
- ▢ 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- ▢ 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- ▢ 1/4 teaspoons cloves
Mix dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients, mix together, prepare a bread pan with parchment paper and pour dough in.
Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes…. But do the toothpick test to make sure it’s done! Serve warm. This recipe can make 2 small loaves or one large one.
