Puff Pastry Asparagus with Honey Drizzle

Asparagus Pastry Puffs

They are easy to prepare and they present a pretty unique twist on the traditional veggie side dish that you typically find at your Thanksgiving table. Instead of the usual roasted carrots and green beans, this dish introduces vibrant flavors and textures that can elevate the entire meal.

Let me know if you make them!

  • 1 bunch asparagus, washed and trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Pastry Puffs cut into squares
  • Brie, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh Thyme
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Roll the puff pastry out to a large rectangle about double the original size. Square off edges and cut into squares.
  • Toss asparagus in olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold 3-4 stalks of asparagus and 1 slice of cheese into dough.
  • Lift two opposite corners of the puff pastry squares and wrap them around the asparagus and press to seal. Brush puff pastry with melted butter, honey and thyme.
  • Bake until puff pastry is golden and puffed and serve immediately (about 10-15 minutes)
