Best Holiday Appetizer

I know what you’re thinking. To title something as the “Best Holiday Appetizer” seems extreme, but hear me out.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a smash. Super, crazy easy. Minimal ingredients and it only takes about 10 minutes to create. Serve with a freshly oven toasted baguette or crackers.

  1. 2 Boursin Cheese packs (I like the garlic, herb flavor)
  2. Smash it down in a pie dish
  3. Mix together in a pan: 3 tablespoons melted butter, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 10 strips of cooked bacon diced very small, dash of cayenne and a dash of thyme, salt and pepper to taste
  4. Top the melted mix on top of Boursin Cheese and enjoy!
